Private Group Tours allow the organizer to select an existing Tour format, or choose tasting locations and start times* most appropriate for their own group (dinner tours are not available) for an additional fee. Or you can leave the planning to us: we can create something as specific as seafood samplings and oyster education, or organize a progressive meal, or focus on hors d’oeuvres paired with cocktails.
Private food tour guests can request specific start times* and tour duration depending on availability of tour guides and tasting partners.
Private Tour pricing is listed above on mobile, and to the right on desktop. Pricing includes all food, drink, tax, and gratuity for tour leaders.
Deviations in timing, changes to, or enhancement of any of the tastings or activities, are subject to an additional fee and must be planned individually with your group coordinator.
Carmel Capers do not include food or beverage, but limited options can be arranged with an additional fee.
*Special note: We are not able to provide late afternoon food tour start times or dinner tours due to both the busy-ness of our tasting partners, and safety concerns of touring in the dark. Carmel sidewalks are not generally lit, and moving large groups over uneven terrain with limited visibility is not an option for our tour leaders. Later start times for scavenger hunts may be available during Summer.
